As Head of Communications and Fundraising, Danielle leads Power2’s brand, marketing, communications and fundraising strategies. She ensures we effectively tell our story, reach a wide range of audiences and communicate the impact of our work, while also overseeing income generation from trusts and foundations, corporate partners, individual supporters and events.
Day-to-day, Danielle oversees our campaigns, digital and stakeholder communications, PR activity and fundraising initiatives.
Before joining Power2, Danielle worked for the digital inclusion charity Good Things Foundation and led the UK’s largest digital inclusion campaign Get Online Week in 2021, which saw over 34,000 people access the support they needed to get online.
In her free time, Danielle enjoys knitting, crocheting and reading literary fiction.
Power2’s work is so vital, I’d argue it’s never been needed more!
“At sixth form, a few months before my final exams, I experienced low mental wellbeing which prevented me from being able to revise and engage with my education. This mostly went undetected because I was still attending school but I wasn’t mentally present in lessons.”
“I eventually opened up to an admin assistant at my school and was referred to receive 1:1 support. Without intervention, I wouldn’t have been able to complete my final exams or go to university.”
That’s why Power2’s work connects with me. It just takes one person to intervene at the right time to make a positive difference in a child's life. Everyone deserves the opportunity to get the most out of their education and life.
