Julie Randles

She/Her
CEO

As Chief Executive, Julie provides inspirational leadership and vision to the organisation. She ensures that Power2 is recognised as a high-profile champion of evidence-based educational programmes throughout the UK, driving impact and creating a sustainable platform for future growth and delivery.

Julie spent the first half of her career in the commercial sector, before moving to Save the Children where she was Head of the Families and Schools Together programme. She spent the next part of her career working on social mobility at the Sutton Trust and then as CEO of Causeway Education. She is a trustee of Brathay and York City of Sanctuary.

In her free time, Julie likes to read, walk and travel.

I joined Power2 as CEO in 2020. At the time, my daughter was experiencing Emotionally Based School Avoidance, and she was later diagnosed with ADHD.

“This gave me an understanding of just how difficult it is for young people and their families to navigate neurodivergence and school disengagement. I’m neurodivergent myself, so I’ve had to overcome obstacles to get to where I am now.”

I really appreciate the huge difference Power2 makes to children and young people, no matter what challenges they’re facing.
