We aim to empower young people and children, and our corporate partnerships will play a big part in helping us do just that through donations, employee volunteering opportunities and funding. We’ve got a strong track record of working in partnership with corporates of all sizes, leaving us confident in our ability to create a mutually beneficial bespoke partnership for any organisation.
A crucial part of our Young Leaders programme, where one of your employees mentors one of our Young Leaders. Employees would benefit from mentoring training, learning transferable coaching skills for the workplace and helping the talent and ability of our young people to flourish. This programme has involved people from a range of companies including PwC, Deutsche Bank and Ashberg and we currently have over 80 mentors.
We are determined to support our Teens and Toddlers graduates into further education and work, a key area where corporate contacts are invaluable. Our young people need help in interview skills, CV and personal statement writing, making a good impression (how to present yourself) and their public profile (particularly online). We have developed a format to run day or half day workshops, including ‘career speed dating’ sessions to increase aspiration of young people.
Our London team have a background in some of the UK’s most admired charity brands – NSPCC, British Red Cross, Children’s Society, UNICEF - as well as a wealth of experience from the private sector. Our partners trust us to push the boundaries of what a charity is capable of - this challenge, which requires us to be well run and innovative, is one we embrace.
