Abigail leads the Income and Engagement Directorate and strategy. She oversees the charity’s income generation from voluntary sources, including charitable trusts and foundations, corporate partners, fundraising challenges and campaigns and a new Power2 Champions individual giving programme. She also leads Power2’s external communications, including social media, cultivation and stewardship activities, Power2’s growing role as a facilitator of youth voice, and relationships with well-known Power2 Ambassadors. Power2’s Income and Engagement team consists of two Senior Development Managers (Trusts and Foundations and Corporate Partnerships), an Income and Engagement Officer and a part-time Communications Officer.

Abigail’s 26 years' experience in non-profit and public sector organisations includes 9 years as Director of Arts and Young People at Arts Council England and 7 years as Deputy CEO of National Literacy Trust. She has led programme delivery and innovation, support to schools and local authorities and partnerships with leading UK and global businesses, charitable trusts, local and national governments, third sector organisations and the media.

I am driven by a firm belief that young people who face barriers are often those with the most insight, and if empowered they can achieve their full potential and more. I am also driven by the power of partnerships to create positive change for individuals, organisations and wider society.
