About us Meet the team Alex Reppold (he/him) Alex Reppold is the Head of Education Transformation and Commissioning for Health Education England in the North West, working to support the workforce supply pipelines for healthcare professionals and ensuring that there's fair and equitable access for anyone looking to work in the sector. Prior to this role, he had 12 years experience working in formal primary education, working across deprived areas of Hull, North Yorkshire and the East Riding, with particular experience in working with children with additional needs with an emphasis on Behavioural, Emotional and Social Difficulties. This culminated in being a headteacher for 5 years at a newly formed academy and working to support the Multi-Academy Trust, Teaching School and Higher Education partners in teacher training and leadership development. Alex has 2 young daughters, and having reflected on the opportunities which will be available to them, compared to others in their year groups, has underscored a drive to get involved in something which could make a difference for those who haven't been blessed with the same privileges they have and will have access to. "Too often the circumstances of the environment around a young person can be the difference between the door of future opportunity being thrown wide open or starting off nearly closed. The work of Power2 opens those doors again; giving young people the skills, self-confidence and aspiration to understand themselves and their strengths, and seeing the value they add to their communities and those around them. I'm thrilled to be able to be joining Power2 as a trustee and hope that my service and can support the outstanding impact that Power2 is making on young people's lives across London and the North West, and beyond."
