Job Title: Multi-Agency Forum Co-ordinator

Reporting to: Director of Services

Salary: £28-30,000 FTE

Location: Ellesmere Port

Power2 is a fast growing and energetic youth charity that has supported 25,000 young people since 2001.  We are based in the North-West of England and London and deliver early-intervention asset-based programmes to young people from disadvantaged backgrounds who have mental wellbeing challenges and are disengaged from school and more widely. We are well-known for our accredited Teens and Toddlers programme and are supporting young people via Power2 Rediscover, an intensive 1:1 crisis response programme. Our Power2 Thrive programme focuses on improving mental wellbeing.

We believe there is no greater cost to society than unfulfilled potential. We support young people to get the most out of their education by helping them to improve their mental health and wellbeing and develop their skills. We inspire young people who are at significant risk of school exclusion to re-engage and fulfil their potential at school, at work and in life.

The Multi-Agency Forum Coordinator will be an integral part of our delivery of an innovative new programme in Ellesmere Port to maximise access to education and reduce school exclusion.

The role focuses on a collaborative approach to removing barriers that prevent young people from accessing a full and appropriate education. Working as part of a team with Power2’s Programme Leads you will play an instrumental role in identifying and meeting needs and then tracking outcomes for young people accessing forum support. The post-holder will work closely with statutory services in Cheshire, developing an in-depth understanding of these services in order to be successful in role. They will support the delivery and development of inclusive multi-agency forums to make collective decisions about support needed for a child or young person, making sure that the voice and perspective of the child/young person and their parent/carer is at the heart of decisions made and holding stakeholders to account in delivering on commitments.

Please apply online with a CV and a personal statement, maximum 2 sides. In your personal statement please describe how your skills and experience match the role description and provide your notice period. Applications without a personal statement will not be considered.

Applications should be sent to [email protected] by the deadline of 10pm on Monday 18 April 2022.
