Growing up in care can be tough. Many of the care-experienced young people we work with feel forgotten about, left behind and disconnected from society.
Power2 Succeed helps reconnect them with the opportunities that all young people deserve, regardless of their background or challenges.
About Power2 Succeed
Power2 Succeed is a programme for young people aged 16-25 who were previously looked-after by their local authority. It supports them with their wellbeing, skills, employability and transition to independent living.
This programme provides individualised support to meet young people’s specific needs, with a focus on social, emotional and mental health, personal networks and relationships moving to independent living.

Who we work with
We provide support to care-experienced young people aged 16-25 to help them achieve and maintain independence, pursue education and access employment and training. They may be referred to us for a variety of reasons:
- Poor wellbeing
- Involved in risky behaviour
- Risk of domestic abuse
- Risk of homelessness

Group
Years 7-12
Teens and Toddlers
Young people spend 16 weeks mentoring a toddler in a local nursery. This experience develops their self-esteem, interpersonal skills and overall happiness.

Years 7-12
Power2 Thrive
A 16-week programme for children and young people who are struggling with poor mental health and wellbeing. As with Teens and Toddlers, young people become mentors and role models to children in a local nursery.

A group mentoring programme that sees young people use sport and movement to support the wellbeing of both them and their mentees in a primary school setting.
