Parents, carers and professionals

Support for the children and young people in your care – at school and beyond.

What we do

At Power2, we help young people believe in themselves and build the skills they need to thrive. We work closely with schools, parents and carers to support young people who may be facing challenges with confidence, emotional wellbeing or engagement at school. Our programmes are designed to help them feel more empowered, better understood, and ready to reach their potential – both in and out of the classroom.

Working together

We know that the best support for a young person happens when the adults around them work as a team. That’s why we stay connected throughout their time on the programme – sharing updates, celebrating progress and making sure every young person gets the most out of their experience.

My child has been referred to a programme

If your child has been referred to one of our programmes, first of all, welcome. We know that trusting someone else to support your child can feel like a big step, and we’re here to make it a positive and reassuring one.

Our programmes are interactive, uplifting and tailored to each young person we work with. We mix group activities, one-to-one mentoring and real-world experiences to help build confidence and spark positive change.

You should receive more information from your child’s school soon. If you have any questions, we’re happy to help.

Supporting the children in your care

If a young person in your care could benefit from some extra support, please contact our team.

Power2 programmes are delivered through schools, so we’ll work with you to see if we’re already active in your child’s school — or explore whether we could bring our support there. Our team will be happy to talk you through what’s possible.

We believe that with the right support, every young person can succeed.

Success stories

I’ve started going into school and I have more methods to help cope with managing emotions. I go out on walks every day now.

I remember thinking, ‘if these children can see something special in me, why can’t I see that in myself?’ It was a realisation that shaped who I am today.

I’ve discovered that stepping outside of your comfort zone is part of growth. Without these experiences, I wouldn’t be where I am today.
