Trusts and foundations

We work with forward-thinking funders to create real, lasting change in young people’s lives. Your support helps us reach those most in need and provides them with the tools they need to thrive.

How you can help

As a funder, you’ll be powering a proven model that works, backed by data, driven by youth voice and shaped by over 20 years of experience.

Fund a programme

Fully or partially fund a specific programme in a school – whether it’s group-based mentoring or one-to-one wellbeing support – and help young people build confidence and discover their passions.

Back the people who make it happen

Fund the salaries of our frontline staff who are the trusted adults helping young people stay on track

Keep the engine running

From measuring impact to growing our reach, unrestricted and core cost funding helps us continue to be effective, responsive and ready to meet rising needs.

What to expect when partnering with us

Backed by evidence

We’ll give you clear, honest reporting on how your funding is used – backed by data, insight and real-life impact. From agreed reporting schedules to meaningful updates, you’ll always know where your support is going and what it’s doing.

See the difference you’re making

You’ll be invited to key moments in our calendar, from youth-voice events and programme visits to our annual graduation ceremonies. You’ll hear powerful stories directly from those whose lives have changed with your support.

Collaborate with us

We’ll offer opportunities to join roundtables, share insights and help shape the direction of our work. We’ll also equip you with messaging, stats and stories to share your impact with others, whether that’s a press release or copy for your internal comms.

Bespoke programmes

We also have extensive experience of working collaboratively with trusts and foundations to create new, bespoke programmes that fit their priorities.

In 2019 we responded to a call from the Walcot Foundation, a Lambeth-based funder, to create a new programme offering wellbeing support and professional development to Lambeth residents in receipt of a Walcot bursary to support them to pursue further or higher education. And in 2022 we worked with the Mercers’ Charitable Foundation to develop a holistic wellbeing and employability intervention for care-experienced young people.

Power2’s mission aligns closely with ours at The Childhood Trust, as our partnership works to alleviate the impact of poverty on young people in London. We’ve been proud champions of Power2 since 2020, supporting their vital interventions and programmes that prepare young people for life, help them thrive in school, and realise their full potential.
