Our story
We’ve been backing young people since 2001, starting with just 33 in one London borough who needed someone to believe in them. Now we’re powering up thousands of young lives every year, helping them build confidence, feel connected and re-engage with their futures. This is the story of where we started, and where we’re heading next.

We see potential where others see obstacles. When things get tough, we keep going – because the young people we work with do too. We refuse to accept limits placed on what a young person can achieve. Instead, we challenge expectations, break down barriers and open doors to opportunities.

We make sure that everything we do has real impact. But being an expert isn’t about fancy words or big claims – it’s about proving that what we do works. And we make sure that young people, their futures and voices are at the heart of it all.

We’re here to lift young people up – because everyone deserves someone in their corner. We bring energy, belief and down-to-earth commitment, helping young people find their spark and back themselves. We don’t do big promises or empty words – just proper support, real connection and a team that never gives up.

Over 70% of our team has lived experience of the challenges we seek to address through our work. While this page introduces our leadership – both Senior Management Team and Board – our wider team is integral in helping us changes thousands of young lives every year.
