Who: Girls and young people

Where: Manchester and London

When: Five workshops from 10.30am-3.30pm. Exact dates to be confirmed, but two will be during the summer holidays, one during October half-term, one in November (on a Saturday), one in January (on a Saturday).

What: We are looking to recruit Youth Network members to help us co-create our brand-new girls-only programme. Being part of the Power2 co-creation team means that you get to be involved right from the start in helping to create a programme that young women could benefit from and be proud to be part of.

Are you interested in making video games, presenting, becoming an entrepreneur or a sports coach?

Who: 14-18 year-olds interested in working as a games developer, presenter, entrepreneur or sports coach

Where: University Academy 92 (UA92) campus, Old Trafford, M16 0PU

When: Every last Thursday of the month, 6-8pm

What: Join the free UA92 youth programme and work on a group project to build your skills and confidence. You could launch a community campaign, talk about the issues that matter to you, or develop a sports session to help others.

Research into identity and opportunity

Who: 13-25 year-olds of Black or Asian heritage

Where: The Guidhall in the City of London, EC2V 7HH and The Boury Academy on South Lambeth Road, SE1 5BZ

When: Between June 29 and December 4

What: Use creative activities to develop a research project that looks at how young people’s identities can prevent them from having the help and opportunities they need. Make a difference to young people’s lives while learning new skills, meeting new people, and having your voice heard.

Volunteer in nature this summer

Who: 16-21 year-olds

Where: London’s Royal Parks, such as Hyde Park and Regent’s Park

When: Between July and November. The first session is on July 19

What: Explore urban nature and meet new friends while volunteering this summer in the Royal Parks. Gain practical skills to support biodiversity and the climate emergency and find out more about environmental careers.
