'Power2 Look Back to the Future'

2020 has been a difficult year for everyone. But in continuing to deliver our programmes virtually, we have seen first-hand how the pandemic has disproportionately affected the young people who were already facing multiple disadvantages.  

Mental health issues, difficult home lives, lack of resources and other challenges have been intensified. Many are left feeling more isolated, more vulnerable and more worried about falling further behind.  

We are working with young people to build their self-esteem, re-engage them with school and empower them to make a positive difference to their lives and the lives of others. This page is a testament to what our programme participants achieve with our support and to our belief that young people’s resilience, enterprise and insights are a vital part of building a better post-pandemic world.

In the last year, despite everything that's been happening, Hafsah (15,) has amazed everyone at Power2 with what she has achieved. She embodies exactly we're trying to do, from engaging in youth social action, to making marginalised voices heard and giving back to her community. A true 'advocate for young women everywhere.'
